Current Prayer Alerts - Youth Convention

Youth Convention and Youth Leader's Summit is just around the corner -- March 14-16, 2008.
Our Event Theme is "Survivor -- One More Round"
(and we'll use boxing as the background to the event and activities)
We'd ask your prayers for the following:
1. Meet goal of raising 150 - 50% scholarships by the end of February (a 50% scholarship is $10.00)
2. Anointing over our invited speaker - Michael Fernandez, DYD of the Gulf Latin District. (as well as the break-out workshop speakers)
3. Record attendance - goal: 300 students and 175 leaders
4. New churches participating - goal: 20 churches that do not currently have teenage ministry, sending participants to either the youth convention or the leader conference. That out of this participation, they will have a passion and tools to begin teen ministry in their local church.
4. First time Salvations and Recommitments to Christ
5. An awakening in each student's heart to discover their talents and to put them to use for the Kingdom
6. Students to leave convention motivated to stay in the fight, to press on in the midst of challenges, and to win their friends and family for Christ
7. Of the leaders in attendance, that 25 will be movitated to commit to a 10 month mentoring program to start in April 2008.
8. Logistics - that there be no breaks in contracts, and that the budget is covered!
